1:Associate An individual may be admitted to Associate membership if at the time of such admission he/she fulfills the requirements of both (a) &(b) below ,that is,if (a) he/she has a recognised degree or diploma in personnel management industrial relations/labour welfare or has passed at least a degre examination or its equivalent in any other stream and has thereafter acquired adequate knowledge of personnel management industrial relations labour welfare;and (b) is holding a mangerial or administrative position in an industrial,trading or commercial organisation. 2:Corporate For admission to Corporate Membership ,an individual should posses the qualification as at (a) above and, in addition ,should (i) have at least three years practical experience in any assignment in personnel management industrial relations / labour welfare, if he/she has a degree or diploma in any of the above three steams, or at least five year's practical experience in case of a degree or its equivalent in any other stream ;and (ii) be holding a managerial or administrative or staff training position in any industrial,trading or commercial organistaion and be dealing mainly with personnel management or industrial relations or labour welfare orany branch or any aspect of them; or be working as Adviser/consultant to any industrial ,trainig,commercial or employer's organisation and be dealing mainly with personnel management or industrial relations or labour welfare or any branch or any aspect of them ;or be engaged as a full-time teacher in personnel management or industrial relations or labour welfare in a recognised educational institution. 3:Life Any individual who is eligible to becom ea Corporate member or who is already a Corporate member may become a Life member by making a one-time payment of Rs. 3000/- 4:Student An individual who is undergoing a recongnised course,either for a degree or diploma ,in personnel management or industrial or indutrial relations or labour welfare,may be admitted to Student membership 5:Institutional The Central or any State Government or any local self Government body or any of their departments or any statutory body or corporation, statutory or otherwise, or any organsiation or any institution or any association, whether incorporated or not, which subscribes to and is interested in furtherance of objects of the institute is eligible for institutional membership.
Membership-Subscriptions
All subscriptions and entrance fee will have to be paid by a bank draftin favour of 'National Institute Of Personnel Management' ,and sent to National office at Kolkatta.
